Hidden Waters#3
Forlì, Following the Path of the Ravaldino Canal
Saturday June 13, 2026, h. 17:30-19:30
Forlì. Meeting point: Franco Agosto Urban Park (public parking lot on Via Pertini).

The walk explores the legacy of the Ravaldino Canal, a defining feature of the city of Forlì. Although the urban course of this waterway is now largely covered over, the canal endures as an urban imprint through architecture linked to its presence and evocative place names, such as the “Grata” area. The route will start at the entrance to the Urban Park on Viale dell’Appennino, where the water is still a visible and recognizable feature, and then follow the hidden course that runs through the heart of the city, seeking to trace on the surface the signs of a landscape made up of mills, bridges, and ancient loggias built over the water. An opportunity to reflect on the canal’s transition from a visible energy artery to an invisible infrastructure, rediscovering its collective memory.
