Discovering Retrone River

Discovering Retrone River is an exploration on foot, in a group and using various provided tools, to raise our awareness of the complex identity of a river rich in history and potential, yet long neglected and altered.
By discovering the geography of the river’s past injustices, yet also seeking out beautiful and forgotten chapters of its history, and giving a voice to people and natural elements, we aim to piece together visions and exercise our ability to reimagine and redesign places and landscapes.
The event is integrated into the ongoing analyses and discussions for the River Contract “Retrone and its tributaries” and is an integral part of the “Operazione Fiumi” initiative promoted by Legambiente Veneto.
